Okay I got some questions to ask I recently recieved som free coilovers from my friend cause he owed me. I wanted to know how they should ride based on the spring rates I heard they have alot to do with the ride and wether you blow out your shocks or hit the bumpstops. I read some where that usually shocks blow out and hit bumpstops and give a crappy ride because the spring rates are to low. What will the ride be like on stock shocks( just so i would know using a comparisons just switching springs) changing from stock springs on a fwd to a coil over kit 450p on the front and 350p on the rear is that bad?

I don't think your stock shocks can take spring rates that high without blowing fairly quickly.

In a word: lousy. As the previous poster wrote, there is no way that OE shocks can control those springs.

RRE has a wonderful saying on their website: If you are only going to upgrade one thing, change the shocks for better handling; change the springs for looks.

I thought High spring rate were what you wanted and if the shocks blow out what does that feel like?cause that was my concern shocks blowing out how do I know when that has happened. What if these coil overs were teamed up with some kyb gr2s or the agx adjustables?

Yes a higher spring rate will help handle your car, but you don't want to go too high. If you're looking to auto-x I would recommend the AGX adjustables for that added stiffness and adjustability the GR2's don't offer, however if you're never going to auto-x the car, the GR2's should be just fine. Many 1G DSMers are running 400lb front and 350lb rear spring rates with the KYB AGX and have had great results, myself included. (The 450's are fine too)

Deffinatley get rid of your stock shocks, because you'll end up doing everything twice and will cost more money in alignment costs.
