After some extensive searching I still have a couple of questions.

1) I have Front and Rear Strut Bars. Will Front and Rear sway bars make a difference on my car w/o a modified suspension. (I cant put shocks/springs b/c my parents wont let me "mod" my car)

2) How hard is it to install one of these things. A local shop wants 175 to do both front and back. Is it even a possible home install or should I leave it to professionals?

3) Should I get both front and rear swaybars? A 1G doesnt have a rear one, so if I put only the rear on will it balance out the steering moreso than adding a stiffer front as well?

I'm thinking of getting the Suspension Techniques kit at extrememotorsports.com... any thoughts on a better choice?

Thanks for your help!

I personally got the RM sway bars for my 2g and installation took maybe 2 hours in a parking lot. Not difficult at all. . . and yes, it definitely helped the handling.

The RM rear clears better than the ST.

I have the ST's they are'nt POS's but not as nice as RM's

Any sway bar upgrade is a good idea.

Sounds like someone needs to find some gear head buddys with a garage bay and tools. Then learn how to build a sleeper.

Ehh, I would build a hell of a sleeper, but my dad knows a lot about cars, and he looks under the hood of mine quite frequently (check oil and stuff) so he would notice the removal of air can, red magnecors, etc. I do have plans once I move out to college in a couple months but for right now this is as much as I can pull off.

I did actually have a question. Does RM make sway bars for the front of a 1g? Or is is just suspension techniques that has front and rear?

I'm a little confused.. If i buy the 90-94 FWD version of this kit it will include both the front and the rear, or just the rear? It sounds like the AWS version has a meaty front swaybar, but the FWD does not. ...still confused.
