Whats up guys,

Ok, call me ###, but I'm not a huge Hooters fan (I'm a prude, I know). However I will be hitting up the track!!! Car is all together! Finally! So I'll be down for some runs. I'm stoked to get back in the loop.

Side note, if anyone is interested in some auto-x meets, hit me up...

dnt think im going in my eclipse it wont be ready by than but i will make it out in my daly driver doing a lot of work on my car

I swear god wont let me have a running dsm for more then 3 weeks.... on my first day of school my Talon Broke down and I missed one of my classes...... luckily it was just a hose that burst. and Hopefully nothing more.

I know what you mean. I bought a new battery and alternator and the battery still won't charge. I am waiting on an alternator relay and hope that fixes the problem. By the way do you know of a place in San Antonio that can replace my headliner?

I know a couple of shops here in Seguin that can do it for you.

Thanks, I may need to pm you if I don't find anything closer. On another note my car is running again, turned out to be a bad alternator relay. At this point I will definitely be taking the GSX to the meet.

I got an evo3 gt I'll let go of cheap, I'll throw in the j-pipe too. Yea I know it's the "China GT" but this thing has worked flawlessly for over 2 years and about 15k miles. The first batches of the GT turbos were basically shipped directly from China and I'd speculate that most if not all failed. Mine lasted exactly a year until it developed a lot of shaft play (not scraping the cover yet though) luckily tc.com warrantied it even though it was 1 day out of warranty. They rebuilt all the come backs at tc.com in Houston and those units have lasted. Mine got a brand new cartridge. It has zero shaftplay, no smoke, no damage. Let me know if interested.

I doesn't look like I will make it. I think my trans finally gave out but I haven't torn it apart yet so it may be a quick fix. But with my luck.......I doubt it. This really sucks.

How did that happen...? Blow an IC pipe and drive on it? Is it giving the tell tale whine and smoke.

Althout seeing how many ppl are affected by the change, im thinking of just having the meet without midnight madness and just heading out to one of the local meets in san Antonio after hooters...

I wasn't even pushing the car. I was just driving normal down the highway and it started making horrible noices. I'm still not sure whats exactly wrong with it. I'm just guessing its the trans because its been giving signs of going out the past couple months. Gives me an excuse to get a shep stage 4

if it is the trans.
