Just double checking. Can I remove these from the harness?

I know the placing of them on the car and the little wire thats by the big black thing goes to the silver noise thing i think thats what that is they are right by the windshield wiper motor i dont know if i would remove those and the other plug on my 92 there was nothing connected to it and when i did my little bit of wire removal and tuck/drop i just left them and electrical taped them together but i would say not to remove them just my 2 cents

Bad picture on my part, I suppose. The other wire is: The 1990 Engine Control Wiring Harness: A-53, or A-48 in the '90 FSM.

It joins pin 5 of the defogger relay to sub-fusible link 1 (alternator fuse in engine compartment junction box) on the other end. So yes, if you get rid of the defogger relay, you can get rid of that other wire.

Thats what I was thinking too. A-53 plugs into the bottom of the fuse box on the passenger side...correct?

Thanks wiseman, exactly what I needed to know.

woops one more question,
Do I need to keep A-56 (noise condenser) that's connected to the relay?

It doesn't plug into the fusebox. The mating connectors are located underneath the fusebox and, as stated above, the one end of the connector is wired to the alternator fuse.

Not if you are getting rid of all the defogger relay-related things.

Is there a reason I would need to keep these;

A-12: Brake Fluid Level Sensor
A-55: Fuel Pump Check Connector
A-59: Engine Speed Adjustment Connector
A-60: Ignition Timing Adjustment Connector

I would smack my mother if I could have the knowledge of wiring you do

A-12: No
A-55: Not necessarily, but it is handy, IMO.
A-59: No -- http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/electrical-tech/435761-need-guru-help-a59-rewire.html
A-60: I would keep this unless both of the following are met: 1) you have Link and 2) it has some provision to allow that pin to be grounded and ignition timing to be properly set. I don't know if that exists in Link or not but it seems like a reasonable feature it would have.

I owe you a beer!
