It's on my 1g. The idle is abou1k I don't know if that's right, I just got it running and have plans to take it to the tuner. . When I turn on the lights blower motor for Ac or cooling fans the car dies, if it doesn't it will go for around 12ish and a tad bit up. I know it's supposed to be around 13.9 or higher at idle. If I need a new one where do I get or what kind??thanks

Car should have ~12.6 volts at battery at any time other than when the alternator is charging, voltage should rise to ~14.6 volts when charging, engine speed isn't at all relevant when the alternator isn't charging, and only moderately when it is. If the voltage never goes above 12, then there is a problem, many parts stores such as advance auto parts, or autozone, will test alternators for free. Alternatively you could test it yourself with a multimeter, but guessing by your level of knowledge I am guessing you probably don't have one..
As for the idle, I do not know the specification for our cars, but that is high. The majority of cars idle somewhere between 600-800 rpms.
Also I would sort these issues before bothering to try to get it tuned, most tuners will probably not even want to tune it until you do.

First make sure your battery is fully charged. If you have a battery going bad or has a weak charge it will cause you to get various false voltage readings from the alternator. After the battery has been fully charged, check the output at the battery terminals, engine running and all accessories OFF. If you have anything less than 12.6 volts; then replace the alternator.

It's only got about 12.5 at idle with a load.

Does the alternator come out from the bottom or top??
I have and external waste gate that looks like it's in the way, and I also have a forward facing filter housing that looks like its In The way. Oh and I'm Also working on jack stands.

It comes out from the top, it is easier if you remove the power steering pump to get down to the alternator. 12.5 volts at idle isn't enough to charge the battery.
