Do your blinkers work look under radio for a relay not hooked up, ive done 2 wiring jobs on my car look and see.

The first one (in your photobucket) is the diagnostic plug, it doesn't connect to anything, unless you're using a data logger

First one is not the diagnostic plug. It connects above your fuse box without it plugged in none of your gauges will work on your dash and you will have no hazard lights. The diagnostic plug. Is a almost clear plastic on the lower half of the fuse box. If its not that then itsone of the dashboard harness plugs wjich are located behind the kick panal under the fuse box. Second rupic looks like it goes to the turn signal relay under where the radio is.
Correction. The second pic looks like the fuel pump relay. Its the gold box that's missing a bolt in the second picture

Agreed on the first one not being the diagnostic plug. Second one is not the MPI (MFI) relay, see below for what sort of plug that would be. I'd still like wire colors.

Actually it looks just like the mpi connector. If you remember it has one plug that has a slit in it that allows it to fit correctly with one connector. Ill check my car in a few to be sure on both plugs

I'll admit I'm wrong if I'm wrong, maybe it's just the picture that is throwing me off. Looking at the connector, to me it seems it has only 8 pin locations. I will agree that the location in the harness is exactly where the MPI relay would be and there isn't another plug in the vicinity close to looking like it. But this is the MPI connector: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/electrical-tech/396361-diagram-these-interior-connectors.html or http://www.mirage-performance.com/tech/1GDSMharness/C63.html.

My mistake, I should have looked at the picture a little better. A quick glance and it looks a lot like the diagnostic plug. Sorry about that.

Ahh I see what you mean. Wel the only other Relay in that vacinity would be for the turn signals. Unless that is a auto harness which in that case it could be one on the connectors for the tcu.

I had an itch this might be the case, I guess I didn't read the original post well enough.

The two connections should go together. The difference in connectors is one of the '90 quirks.

Together, these make up the control wiring harness to the body wiring harness combination. On the '90, it is an 8-pin connector with 7 wires. On the '91+ it is a 14-pin connector with what looks like 11 wires for the manual transmission vehicles and 18-pin connector with what looks like 16 wires for the automatic transmission vehicles.

If you have the old engine harness still, you can swap the the old connector onto your '90 harness, match up the wire colors you have on the '90 engine harness with those on the '94 body harness, and it should work out.

Here's the '90 body wiring harness end with the control wiring harness end in the background:
