i dont no whats going on i keep getting told either fuel or boost leak i checked for leaks their is none but if its fuel what could it be i have a 16g turbo i even turned my boost down to 6 and it still does it:banghead:

If you can turn your boost down to 6 psi you have problems. Most likely boost leaks but could also be a wastegate issue. Sounds like boost leaks based on your other symptom. How did you check for boost leaks?

I'm not trying to be rude or anything. but we're kinda stabbing in the dark here. Please take a moment and try to complete your mod list a little better. 1. It lets you get to know your car a little better. 2. It gives us the information needed to a make a semi educated guess on what could be the issue at hand. Upgraded turbo exhaust and intake reall doesn't describe much to us. Knowing what turbo you have with the supporting mods would help us help you. For example, if you have a 20g turbo with stock injectors... Well, I'm not gonna look at spark, i'm gonna look at if you're hitting fuel cut. And you really don't have to go out and list everything all at once. I'd say start with the 4 key areas of Air, Fuel, Fire and ECU. Never take any previous owners word on it, verify it! There are people out there that will tell you it's a FP green when you're really sitting on a clipped 20g because neither of you know any better at the time. Run the part numbers if you can see them through the internet really quick what and who made it. Lastly, if you don't personally know when something was last done, ie; oil change, timing belt, any fluid change "do it now". I do apologize for the rant, but I really don't like to see someone give DSM's a bad rap when it's just prior negligence on a platform that in a couple years won't even qualify for emissions testing in TX. Looking forward to giving you a hand!

Ok parts I now of is Evo 3 big 16g turbo, hacked 1g maf, 2g head, stock 1g bottom end, front mounted inter cooler, stock waste gate, stock fuel system, just had time belt done and oil change with royal purple, about to upgrade spark plug wires and do new plugs, data logger 3 inch strait pipe turbo back still have o2s don't think I have a wide band after market boost and fuel pressure Gage's as well as a air to fuel gage just can't get that one working k&n air filter and I have to check on ecu I think it's stock as well. And no your not being rude any help I can get is good

To check for boost leaks I have a boost tester built and I just used air trying to find something to use smoke with to blow in so I can see if there is a leak I used regular air tank and didn't hear any

Ok I think I have it fixed I'm going to do more testing I found that some of my inter cooler pipes were lose it wasn't leaking they were just separated in the rubber couplings
