ECMlink 98 GST ECMLink v3 no start?!

Okay guys, so I have a 98 GST that I just recently got a new v3 lite ecmlink and an eprom and got it in the car. I tried starting the car and it would not start. Read up only to find that the 95-96 EPROMs have a different firing order. So I rearranged the spark plugs to the correct position and then started the car, it was extremely rough idle (like 300-450 rpm) sounded like it was missing bad so I shut it off immediately. Found out I needed to check the box saying use non 95-96 cam angle sensor. Checked that. Startup, felt like it was still missing but it atleast idled at 600-700 (target idle is at 750). Gave it a little throttle and instantly died. Do I need to internally adjust the timing of the motor or what is it I'm doing wrong. Any help would be much appreciated!!

a few logs.. tried changing the air flow, noticed its hardly reading any airflow, maybe starving itself of air, so it wont fire?

Glad to see you did some research and found you need to swap plug wires and check the box.

I'm assuming that since it's new that the fuel settings are correct for what's in your car (please fill out your profile so we know what's in it). Can you post up a log that way we can see what's going on?

Have you done anything to the car since it last ran well except install ECMlink?

Since you have a '98, you can't adjust the base timing.
 
Havent done anything since it last ran well. I posted a few logs for you guys. For fuel system I'm running evo 8 560 injectors and a wally 255. Stock turbo, cai, stock maf, fmic, 3" turbo back exhaust, and a header. Only upgrades as of now on the car. Just trying to get a driveable tune that way i can take it to a local shop to get professionally tuned.
 
Get rid of the timing down low. Not sure why you added that.

Check your DTC tab in ECMlink. You're throwing a 1300 - Ignition timing adjustment circuit malfunction code. You'll want to look into that.

Also, go through all the sticky threads in this forum and do everything that they suggest. If you have any questions about what/why you're doing something, post up.

Once you've gone through them all (especially the "Before you ask..." thread), post up a new idle log.
 
how do I add airflow per rev? I noticed when the airflow reads 0 the car dies. (obviously) how do I fix that?

Im not sure if you have fuel trim on yours, i have V3 full. Im not sure on the differences between them.

You are running a stock 2g MAF correct?
 
Well I set my injectors up (evo 8 560s).

Yes I am running a stock 2g MAF

latest log. got it to run and idle but if I rev it up it just kills itself!
