Well never said I was proud

I was doing mainly 3rd gear pulls during the tuning and new the HG was leaking a little but of course it really leaked in 4th gear. Partly why I was videoing was to see how bad it was. No one was there.

You know true DSMer will run the coolant overflow into a gallon jug :)
 
Not sure what you mean video in 360 on youtube is not right all the time.

Um...what is wrong with the camera that took that video?

I sware my car does the same thing. What did you do to fix the leaky headgasket? Torque the head down more? Or replace it with a different headgasket?
 
The RA on the Surface is key. So we had the head surfaced and flat blocked and put a new Felpro mls HG back on and she was fine. Very few machine shops in the country can get the kinda of surface we need.

Much past 700whp other mods like a O-ring is almost needed to keep them sealing. EVO and 2g heads seem alot better about sealing then 1G heads do.

Much past 100ftlbs with lube all you do is start crushing the head. If you look at a head that has been TQ past 100 ftlbs you can totally see ware the washers start cutting in to the head.
