95 Talon AWD Daily Driver 6 Bolt Rebuild

Hi DSMTuners world! Im writing this as my first blog/thread in the DSM Community to share my install of a 6 bolt into my 2nd gen. I've had the parts just lying around for years and have moved the car between 2 house. I'm looking to finally put life back in her after many years of sitting.

Background, i have had the car since i was about 17. Started off completely stock. After doing some upgrades crank walk hit

I have had the car in pieces and am finally looking to get it going while i am also working on a headgasket for its twin (i have another 95 AWD Red)

So here is my post, i hope you will follow along and comment on things.

I had already had a few things before crankwalk hit....
-EvoIII Big 16G
-HKS SSQ
-Intake
-3" Exhaust
-Intercooler
-510CC Injectors
-and a couple other Misc things....
-Tien Springs and AGX KYB, ACT2600 Clutch...Typical highschool upgrades that i could afford.

Since then i have purchased the following for the build:
-6bolt Engine (rebuilt, OEM)
-ACT Flywheel
-And not to much else...

I want to make it a daily driver and have it as a DSM to cruise in to work during the week...so here we go...

Here is a pic of when i first got the car and put 3g wheels on since the guy before had some horrible 16" chrome. Also some pics of the car when i first pulled the 7bolt out.

Sounds like a nice project. Good luck with the build! I plan on doing six bolt swap into my 95 AWD also but mine will be built for drag. For now I am getting my 7 bolt running until it blows up. On that note, have any 7 bolt parts for sale?

Nice! Yeah my other 2G is a little more built. Just looking for a cruiser...

I need more body parts now than engine parts I recently picked up a head just waiting on my arp's and gasket to come in the mail. Might need a few parts here and there but I'll see exactly what is needed come next weekend (hopefully) when I throw the head on!
