Got this car free from my godmother and
Been fixing all the parts up ( repairing what the last owner did all wrong) one at a time slowly one paycheck at a time.
- the first thing to change was the body kit.
- painted the car white
- changed to the original tail lights.
- got it an aftermarket radio since it had a whole where it should have been.
- got the car new spark plugs and got a new valve cover set.
- bought fog lights, and installed hids on the foglights as well as headlights.
- changed the motor mount that basically wasn't doing anything.
- got new rims and tires for my car.
- my Gs has come a long way with me but she still has more to go

Honestly any comments to add to the car or compliments would be helpful. The car has basically everything else stock as a Gs and I do plan on getting a intake for it later

- just added a cold air intake thanks to a friend on here helping me out.

DUDE, what did you do?! that car was awesome.....LMAO, not really. This was a great conversion from rice to nice. Looks a million times better from the pos you started with. I would lose the side skirts (but thats just me). Hope they didnt ruin the engine. FREE CAR...I wish

Impressed. Nice recovery on the Mitsu. Not many people would take the time or spend the money to do what you did, be proud of your accomplishment.

It will make a great car if the maintenance on the engine/trans/susp/brakes is taken care of. The 420a is a pretty decent engine when maintained properly. My 1st dsm was a 95 talon esi that put down 296k miles on the original engine and trans and with 35+ mpg, i couldnt complain. Kind of the reason why i bought my white 98'. I had spare parts when the water pump took the belt and valves on my 95'.

I have a spare CAI if you want it, no charge. Pay for shipping. Its less than 3lbs so i cant imagine it costing too much. I have a wrapped header with down pipe welded, i could let go for cheap too. You can email me directly at travg@ymail.com if you'd like to discuss more. I'll try not to turn this thread into a "WTB/WTS". But i have parts from my swap i wont need any more.

Just get rid of those side skirts and the HIDs that blind oncoming drivers and you'll be good to go! Congrats on the recovery! Any other plans or is it going to be your dd?

Haha I agree with the side skirts! The plan right now is just to make sure the car runs great and drive as good as possible. Like right now the next steps are the cai, new clutch, whole brake Job basically what it needs. Then what follows might be the usual Like headers and anything you guys would recommend considering this car will still be my daily driver since I'm still going to school.
