Like the title says, got bored with mustangs. wanted to build something new, something different, something I've never dealt with before.
The main criteria, was it needed to be small, boosted, get decent/ good mph, be sexy to look at, not be a wrx (already built one and seriously, I think every wrx/sti in the country is in my city.)
Anyway, long story short, I traded my 95 cobra for this low millage (85k) 97 GST plus 1750 cash on his end. I wanted more in cash, but we raced for it. He won.

Slightly wrecked, but a project, and that's exactly what I wanted.
First day home the De-ricing proses began.
the engine bay.. sweet mother of god..

goodbye

boost controler was wired totally wrong, had to fix that up

progress!

I didnt get any pics, but i also pulled out a HORRIBLE underglow set up, yanked a old viper alarm that wasn't wired correctly, removed a ton of useless zip ties.. blegh
broken motor mount replaced while i was in there

next step audio, found this really nice shifter while i was in there

Self installation didnt come out too bad
next was getting the rear end sorted. the damage was a bit more than i initially thought but meh. i dont mind. i was able to pound most of it out with a hammer and 2x4

picked up a new set of tail lights on craigslist, a carboncreations hood, and found this color matched bumper at the junk yard!!

still have some massaging to do on the hatch but ill get there.

Finally found out why the dam headlights wouldnt turn off ><

I'll update more as i go!
