MMC Evolution III street/drag build from Iceland.

Well whats up guys, new to this forum. I bought and mmc evo 3 back in december with a broken motor. i bought new engine and swapped a builded 6 bolt DSM in it. 7 bolt is stock.

this is how it looked when i got it. Old 7 bolt block

first parts arrived for the 6 bolt block

Manley pistons 9.0:1
Manley Rods
OEM oil pump
Eagle crank
ACL bearings

Now it was build time

just got the block back, bored and honed

the car sits and waited for engine

My custom made ballance shaft. Oem shaft the was machined down like this

Now the plan was to build the head. But i was planing to do that this winter when i take it apart. The plan was to buy HKS 272 cams and new valves and Kiggly springs and retainers. but for now it was just stock

Then the plan at first was to build an awesome auto x street car but i have allways been fan of drag racing. But i gave it a shot this summer to compete in auto x wich i placed 1st.

Toyo R888 Tires was bought and D2 Coilover also

Then i decided to change the lugs from 4x114.3 to 5x114.3

Kosei K1 wheels. Veeeery light. 17x8 ET35 Almost fitted.

Then hours of work to take the damn tar mats out it was about 20kg in weight

and painted it on the inside

weighted the car about 1190kg

Now the drag racing.

Btw it has stock turbo 16g evo III, stock cams, stock ecu, stock ic, stock ic pipes, stock intake

i ran 11.72@115mph
