Thats awesome I hope this build turns out sweet!! I started to read this and our story is almost the same :p Lets hope we can get our old beauties to see the road again :thumb:

I haven't posted in 5 months, but I got the car running back in about July and it ran awsome. I put in a Boost Controller and ran 15psi and no big problems. I had a leaking coolant line to the turbo and a cracked valve cover that was annoying.

So after driving it for a few months I decided it was time to rebuild the transmission because it was grinding pretty bad in 2nd gear. So I tore it apart and am waiting to get parts back from Jacks Transmissions. It will have Double Synchroed 1st and 2nd gears and welded center diff.

While I am waiting to get it back I have put in Prothane motor mounts to stiffen everything up, did cam seals because they were leaking bad and I forget to do them when I rebuild the engine. I replaced the leaky coolant line, replaced OFH that was leaking, replaced valve cover that was cracked, new shifter bushings (Metal), I'm getting hard pipes for my SMIC from the turbo to manifold.

I'm thinking of doing some kind of racing with it. Probably go to a Drag Strip or do some kind of Rally Cross Racing? Not too sure. After all the money I put into it, it was all totally worth it and an awsome car! I love it.

Plans for the future are to put in a bigger fuel pump, turbo back exhaust, and probably get DSM Link next year.
