broken gear on the center diff. housing....

when putting in steel shift forks and a center spool i found out that my center diff. housing gear has a couple teeth broken off of it...i called mitsu and i dont have the money to buy a brand new one, so i was going to try and find one used...maybe someone with a tranny for just parts or whatever..

anyways, i know i need one from a 91.5 and up AWD tranny, but will what about 95+ trannys..will it work from those as well? i have the feeling it wont but i just wanted to double check so i could make open my search up a little more.

and if anyone has a spare tranny or the part i need please contact me asap. thanx

Looking for a used one? Try calling TRE. Jon's got a google of tranny internals around his shop. He might have one and swing you a good deal on it.

yeah i tried emailing him and he said all they have are new ones...same thing shepard said too
