Is there anyway to tell if a clutch disc is used or not?

I found a clutch for sale. He says he intalled it and then took it off cause it was the wrong clutch, 2100 instead of 2600. I wanted to know if there where any markings or anything that would verify that the disc wasn't worn or anything. Thanks. Peace.

You should see at least very light markings on the pressure plate if he used it for a few minutes or longer. As far as the disk youd have to look at the fibers on the disk for some shiny glazed areas.

I wouldn't recommned buying a used clutch, that's just absurd. And if you still insist on doing something so ridiculous, at least buy a new disk. You can pick up new mitsu disks for $50 or so...
