91 GS-t getting a 90 tranny whats to know?

I'm getting ready to install a 90 tranny into my 91 GS-t, so what do I need to know ? I switched over the bracket that the linkage mounts to on the tranny and I guess I'm supposed to switch the lever over also if I could just get the pin out.
What else do I need to do or know before I do this ?
Any help is appreciated.

yeah got it covered for the most part... the rest is trial and error I guess.

I did however get the 90 tranny in today , it seems to be going into gears ok as I only drove it around the block for a minute, but the clutch is slipping pretty bad now so I'm going to pull it all apart again and replace the clutch under warranty to see if that helps, unless someone has any ideas as to why the clutch is slipping...w 4k on it and I dont recall burning it up before the fork broke.

I dont think the 90 flywheel would be different by any chance is it?

Fyi for those that dont know I swapped in a 90 fwd tranny into my 91 fwd dsm before doing this all I did was swap the two brackets that hold the linkage to the tranny , so if youve done this and have any advise for me please reply.
