I am getting clutch slippage with my Clutch Master Stage 3 in this cold weather. It's been in the teens up here and I am wondering if anyone else has had the same problem. Is this normal?

Hmmm, mine is doing that right now with my ACT2100. Its in the low teens here. Then again, I am running about 17psi tuned at 20 degrees timing at redline :D So not sure, I guess I would like some input on this also.

I'm running 24 PSI and have switched to snow tires. They severly limit traction so I figure that the tires should be the weakest link.

After spending a few minutes on the phone with Clutch Masters it appears I have 2 problems. First of all, the clutch is designed for street/track use so it's designed to run high temperatures. It needs to be warmed up to operate properly. The slippage is not detrimental as long as I don't over do it, it help heat the plate up. Second of all, My car is running over the max HP listed for that clutch. It's about a 2500 lb clutch that is good for 350 HP max. During tuning I pulled 372 at 3800 and bleeding off to 348 at 7000.

It's not too far over but still pushing the limits of the materials.
