are they any good? i saw a lot of their products and i want to get a built tranny and center diff fomrthese guys, but i also heard someone on another forum complaining about htem. anyone here have any experience? i sent them an email like 3 months ago and they never answered me.

I have heard alot of good things about them. Only problem I keep hearing, is that they do take some time. Trying calling them instead of e-mailing them. www.teamrip.com

Another alternative can be
BM Tranny I hear they are just as good.

=^.^=

Last time I talked to Jon at TRE he said their Email system "took a $hit". Just call them, they're very busy, but they got my parts to me very quickly. Of course I wans't waiting on them to rebuild a tranny, I just needed parts. I highly reccomend them, just be patient in dealing with them.

Sweet, I'd planned on having my trans rebuilt this winter. To my pleasant surprise, TRE is in Kalamazoo, only about 2-3 hours from me!!! That will make it much easier. I can just take it out and drive it over in my other car.

too bad i live in el paso i would have to ship them my car. any idea how much that will cost?

Why on earth would you ship the entire car???

If you mean Transmission, instead of car, it shouldn't be more than $75. You can go to Walmart and buy a large HD plastic truck bed tool box for $25. The trans fits inside nicely, although the box is a little long. You can fill the remaining space with styrofoam.
