ATL,
Yes, a complete idiot I certainly am.
After installing my new ACT 2600 and XACT flywheel, I got my tranny back on and then proceeded to drop one of the rear mounting bolts into the speedometer sensor well.
I was originally able to see the bugger, but when I went for it with needle nose, I lost my grip and the bolt is no longer visible. Fishing with a loop of wire was unsuccessful. My next attempt is going to be fishing around with a magnet stick. Also I have thought of taking the tranny off and turning it so the bolt might fall out. Also maybe flushing it in reverse from the drain hole out the speedometer well could work?
Do any of these ideas seem like they would work? Any other ideas?
If I end up having to crack open the tranny, what is the minimum I need to do in order to retrieve this #%#$#$ of a bolt?
Any help is much appreciated.
