Need help on auto tranny

Got a problem with my auto trans, flushed out the heater core, and some of the antifreeze, and acid got on the tranny, ever since then the transmission has a mind of its own, sometimes i start out in 2nd gear, other times 1st gear, other times it will not shift at all, stays in 1st gear, almost seems like (limp)mode, but sometimes it shifts fine, also when it shifts good and i cut the car off, that's when it gets stuck in 1st, 2nd or 3rd, any suggestions on this one, ive searched everything i know to search.

I think that the most logical first step would be to see if you have any codes. It's possible that you may have damaged some of the trans related wiring.

Found the problem, antifreeze had got in the selector switch, and shorted it out, so the car could not tell what gear it was in, therefore showing no codes, my mechanic cleaned the plug from the switch, and it is working fine! The switch told the computer the car was in low gear all the time,so it thought that i had the car in low gear, so no code was shown, so if anyone else runs into this check that plug !
