I think my clutch system needs a thorough once over and I figure I may as well replace the clutch. I bought the car a month ago and don't know when the clutch was last replaced, but I'm guessing it was a while ago. The problems I'm having are a stiff pedal and sometimes balky shifting, so I figure possibly a new clutch and lube/adjust/bleed of the system will make it feel and perform better (I know on my CRX the pedal was awfully stiff with a stock clutch and it turned out to be a TO bearing that needed lube, but replacing the whole thing was a great improvement anyway).
Anyway, on to the question. I will probably never take my car to the strip. I am making this an auto-x/roadrace car, and all the clutch reviews rate strength by how many launches it will hold or how fast an ET you can run with it, which doesn't really help me. I'll be sticking with the 14B for a while, maybe to upgrade to a small 16G later. I drive it daily and want a clutch that will have good street manners, relatively good wear characteristics and won't slip in non-launch situations up to say, 300HP. What should I look at?
