I'm pretty sure this is due to a bad clutch or pressure disc. When the pedal is pushed it sinks to the floor like a feather and returns just as easily. When I tried to put the clutch in going into 1st,last time it was able to run, the engine just revved, and wouldn't pull the car. I figure it has a worn clutch. But now when I go to push the resistance-less clutch pedal down to start the car, it drops to the floor, and when the key is turned to start it all that happens in the engine area is a whine like a free spinning starter motor....which I figured to be exactly that. So if this is b/c the clutch is gone, why won't it start up again? Stuck in gear or something like that?
There also seems to be some fluid all over everything on the driver side of the engine bay. Probably tranny fluid.... Forgot to add that. Could it maybe be a seal that leaked out all of my fluid?
