1G tranny prob

My problem is 5th gear pops out all the time. I have to hold it in 5th as soon as I let go it pops out. Its getting really old. Im hoping that it not the infamous Shift fork. Has anyone else experienced this problem. And if you fixed it How. Also I have the same problem as in another thread. I have a Low Clutch pedal too. I checked the adjusting rod and its extended all the way out and I still have a low pedal. I replaced the slave cylinder and made sure it had plenty of fluid but to no avail. What is wrong with my Tranny. Please someone help.

Usually when cars pop out of gear its because of engine mounts. The shifter is conected to the transmission by shift linkage. The engine and transmission move back and forth when driving. This causes them to pop out of gear. Make sure its not that before blaming the transmission. Its cheaper. Also the low clutch pedal could be caused by the clutch master cylinder. If you replaced the slave cylinder and there is no air in the lines and so on. I'd check that.
