ACT2600 & stock disc

I have an ACT 2600 and I have the tranny out right now while I rebuild the engine. The disc is kinda worn out and I have a nearly new stock disc. In the name of saving money, does anyone know if the stock disc will work with the ACT pressure plate? I realize it won't hold up to as much abuse, but it'll do for now. It looks like it will work, but I wanna be sure before I bolt everything up. Thanks.

dan from pruven performance runs an ACT pressure plate and stock disk on his street DSM. It ran low 11's and he said it held up best.
