I've searched through the archives - not one appears to answer a simple question.
On a 1G talon - what are the proper strokes of the following clutch components?
Master Cylinder rod from the pedal assembly?
Slave Cylinder?
Distance of Shift fork from bellhousing when pedal fully pressed?

Problem.
Without any real symptoms or problems - I now can't get the car into ANY gear.
It is like a switch - one minute it worked, another it didn't.
The only strange thing I can think of is before I parked the car the tranny was shifting like budda.

Tranny fluid is redlion MTL - Did the shifter bushing MOD.
It has been 50K km's since new engine.
Flywheel MAY be original - not sure - if it is 300K km's on it.

Checked out a bunch of things. Fluid level, bleeding, etc.

What I do know.
Master cylinder moves full stroke - rod moves to just below threaded section when looking at the pedal assembly under the dash.
Slave Cylinder only moves 0.553". Measuring from the front of the clinder to the outer wall of the piston - 1.535" pedal at top, 0.982" with the pedal on the floor.
Fork is at least 0.5" away from hitting the bell-housing at full pedal stroke.
Slave Cylinder can travel at least another 0.75"
Master Cylinder adjustment near end of travel already.

Anyone got any measurements of a known good working clutch?

My posts are at DSM Talk and Club DSM Canada

I'd like to know the stroke distances before I pull the tranny.
Reference Material Anyone?

Have you tried just bleeding the clutch?

Always start small.
