how to get axel out???

I am Replacing my Stock clutch becuase it slips horribly bad now on my AWD tsi and everything is going good execpt for the Axel. I cannot get the axel out i mean when i tug on it the axel comes toward me but Not the entire thing just the axel and cv join in the green cup. My question is How do i Get the green cup and axel out of the transmission all as one piece.. i dont wanna cut a cv join just to get it out.. Ive tried prying the green cup with a screw driver but that doesnt do anything... Please help if you know an easier way Thanks

Very carefully put a standard decent sized screwdriver between the axle cup and the tranny case and twist it with a set of pliers..It should pop right out. Be very careful not to tear the axle seal.

Use a crowbar, I always use a crowbar to pry the axle out of the tranny, just be careful on what ur using to get leverage on.

As mentioned, just pry it out. As for the axle seal..don't worry about the seal. It is a good idea to replace them after this amount of time anyway.
