Can stock 99 N/t tranny handle stage two turbo horsepower

I own a 99 gs with an auto trans and I want to buy a stage two turbo kit, I'm wondering if the tranny can handle it or I should suck it up and deal with my neon power. I dont want to sell and buy a Gst/x because I don't want somebody elses hammered machine and mine is still mint. Hopefully this hasn't be covered allready, I did a forum search and came up empty. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

your car would move driving normally....but lets say ur u mat it in 1st and second gear it would heat up to the point where at 3rd gear ur clutch is getting fried....ide upgrade to a serious clutch..
