LSD on a 1G??

pre-92 cars were offered with it also. Heres the rule of thumb on that---> they were offered with EITHER abs or an lsd, but not both.

All FWD cars did not come with LSD.
All AWD cars did not come with front LSD.

Only some AWD's have LSD in the rear diff.

All AWD's have LSD for the center diff.

Easiest way to tell if the car has a LSD. Open up the drivers side door, if there is a bright orange sticker saying "WARNING: This car has a LSD", well... that should do it.

the LSD came as an option in 91 and up AWD i believe for 1gs, not too sure about 2gs though.

my 90 has a rear LSD. It was either ABS or LSD in the 90-91's.

Does This mean My 1990 Tsi non abs has a Lsd in the rear but not the front?? The car only has two Diffs right? or three??

IF you have a 90 or 91 you had either abs or lsd, you only got one. In 92-94 you could have either, both, or neither. LIke stated above check your driver side door jam if it has the orange warning sticker then considr yourself lucky.
