Actually, it's not complicated at all. One can convert our AWD cars to RWD in about an hour - with the right parts.

Wouldn't you just have to disconnect the front axles, I mean still have to support everything, but then that would give full 100% to the rear wheels. Then hook everything back up again later. I might want to do this! Good idea

um you would pretty much need both sides of an axle(the part that goes in the tranny and the part that goes to the wheels) without the shaft part to do this, as far as i could see. but really why?

There's not much to it. All you need is a spool (from TRE) or welded VC to lock the center diff with and a pair of busted front axles you take apart.
As someone above said, it's fun, but it puts too much stress on the spider gears of the center diff, the x-case and the rear axles (= definitely not recommended on some 400HP car with stock center diff and 3-bolt rear end).

WEll What about a close to stalk car, bith just bolt ons and fuel . . . i wanted to do this just temporarily. The page you provided (taboo) no longer works, so how would i go about step by step on doing this?
