Need to lock up my rear end

I've got a '90 AWD Talon with a 3-bolt non-LSD rear axle. I'm setting it up for drag racing only. It should run high 12's...
Should I buy a used LSD rear axle or is there a decent way of welding up the spider gears or? I realize a 3-bolt axle is not the ideal set-up. Any thoughts or experiences would be appreciated!

Your best bet is to get a used 4-bolt rear LSD with accompanying axles and mating flanges. This setup has well proven itself.

yea the 3 bolt will not hold up trust me i snaped 3 rear axels on my 3 bolt one of them was making a U turn. 3 bolts are not the way to go with a locked rear end or welded center diff.
