OK this is just getting sickening now. I have been playing around with the master cylinder adjustments to get the proper height but it seems like I just cant do it. Here is why:

right now when the car is cold the clutch begins to grip at about a 1/2 inch off the floor. however once it warms up its closer to about 2 or 3 inches off the floor?! When warm if I give it boost in 3rd or higher gear the clutch starts to slip.

What the hell is going on here? If I could just get a constant system I could have this thing working no problem... However because it grips differently when warm and cold I dont have enough of a range... If I set it any closer to the floor it *may* grip under WOT when warm however when I start it up I can't get the clutch to fully disenguage thus grinding gears (especially reverse) and putting undue wear on syncros (not something I want to do with my 300 mile old built TRE trans)... Any ideas what is going on here?

BTW, I just put in a new master and slave cylinder and bled the entire system, and it didnt do anything. I lengthened the slave cylinder rod which seemed to give me more room to adjust the master cylinder rod, however it did nothing to solve my real problem.

Its a clutch master pp with a act street disk. It used to do the same thing when I had my clutch master pp and clutch master disk (changed to a act disk after i smoked it out at the track)

Thanks in advance for all of the responses.

No ideas anyone?

Someone told me it may be the rubber stock clutch line and to get a stainless replacement. I will admit I dont have the braided line and it is actually on order.

However that doesnt seem to make sense to me, because if the stock rubber line was to expand when warm. Then it would make sense if the had problems DISENGAGING when warm. Whereas I am having problems with the clutch preloading when warm?!
