will a 2g gst tranny fit a jdm 1g engine?

Whats the spline count? 22 fits 22 23 fits 23.


The 2g is 23, Now the trans on a 1g can be either. Depending on year.

I have a 1g intrenals in my 2g shell, which is 23spline.

I normaly just bring a clutch disk with me when I got to look at parts so I dont have to count.

well im looking at getting the 6 bolt from the early eclipses, i dunno if that will help.
