ACT2600 Install questions

Well i droped my Trans yesterday and got the old Clutch/Flywheel out and is being replaced with an ACT2600 and a RRE lighten stock flywheel.

Now this is my first new clutch install and had a few question on what the Trans bolts/FLywheel/Pressure plate were tourqed down to? ive searched but i cant come across it!!

Now would be a good time to invest in a Haynes manual. It will give you all the torque specs you need.

Yea or the time for you to bust yours ot and look it up for him since you've gotta have one seeing how strong you believe in investing in them ... might as well help another member out if you can right?

Sorry I personally don't know the specs nor do I have a manual. I believe the flywheel bolts were right around 100 ft/lbs ..... not sure tho.

Well if someone could help me out this time it would really help!!


I also forgot to list a few questions i had before. Now i picked up some Mobil 1 Universal grease to grease everything up good. I just wanted to make sure that this will work for the TOB and were i Place the X-fer case back on the trannydont know what thats called.

Let's see if my lazy asscan reach the Haynes manual. ugh that's a tough workout, time for another 6 pack! Flywheel to crank bolts are 94 to 101 Ft.-lbs
clutch pressure plate to flywheel bolts are 11 to 16 Ft.-lbs
use loctite on both
Make sure the grease isn't lithum based, Lithium drys up over time and gets sticky. Any modern synthetic grease will work fine.

Oh yeah, tranny to engine bolts
12mm bolts get 32 to 39 Ft.-lbs
10mm bolts get 22 to 25 Ft.-lbs
go easy on the rear bolt, it's easy to strip out.
