hey guys,i changed my tranny fluid today and when i took the drain bolt off,NOTHING came out maybe this was why it grinded once in awhile..i have a bmtranny race trans so im kinda lucky i didnt burn anything..
my real question is this..i went and bought gm syncromesh,but there was 2 of them..1 for 10.00 and the other for 20.00 a quart..i got the one for 10.00 but has anyone ever ran that other stuff before or know what it is?..and can i use some syncromesh in the rear diff and transfer case?..thanx again..and yes ive looked but know one has ever said anything about using syncromesh in the cases..

You should have gotten the Pennzoil Synchromesh for $6. But you'll be fine. The expensive GM stuff is synthetic, and not the best for our transmissions.
