taking the tranny out for the 1st time...

i have everything disconected. just took the axles off. fluid is drained out. all i have to do is unbolt the housing from the engine and unbolt the tranny mounts. is there anything else i need to watch out for? should i put something under the engine to help support it? how far down is the engine going to "sag" anything else i should watch out for

Make sure to remove all the wires/cables on the tranny also. No need to put anything under the engine for support as it won't sag.

i would put a jack under the engine just to be safe, i wouldnt want to take a chance of breaking a mount on my car from the weight of the engine, and i would recomend u put some solid urathane monts in while ur tranny is out, it makes installing them alot eaiser, those stock rubber mounts usually dont look too good after being in there for 10 years
