Who builds the best tranny?!

I've decided to ask the question of who builds a better tranny?

I can't recall ever hearing a bad word said about Shep or his trannies. TRE may make good stuff too, but it's a fact that they may keep your trans for four months and not even return your phone calls to see what's going on, so that makes the choice between those two pretty obvious to me. BM, dunno.

From my experience........The guys at BM were assholes on the phone, and talked to me like i was an 18 year old in a Ferrari dealership. I send email after email to TRE, and called time and time again and made it very clear that i had cash in hand but i still never recieved a phone call back. I called John Shepherd, he answered the phone, i told him what i wanted, sent him the money, and i had my transmission in less than 2 weeks. I would highly reccomend him. Three of my DSM customers have purchased a TRE tranny, and they shift great, but not one of them had their transmission back in less than a month.

the same thing with me, i lost lots of money calling from overseas to get some parts from TRE, and they either dont answer or they would put me on hold (up tp 15mins) , allthough they know that iam calling overseas.
at the end, i received the part after 45 days !!

i just dont like them at all, bcz of the way they talk to you, they talk as if they are the only in the world

Heard nothing but good things about Shep. That's actually where my car was gonna go until I decided to just wait awhile. TRE I hear good and bad. Don't know anything about BM. Buschur, I've heard good and bad about.

Ive sent e-mails with questions to TRE and got detailed responses in the same day, but I havent purchased anything yet.

Bottom Line, TRE does great work. Hell, I even run a TRE ported turbo. However, many will question the way that they do business. On the same token, you will never find anybody that has any complaints about Shepherd's work, or his business practices.

Shephard did my transmission over a year ago. I have put over 20k miles on it , and no problems as of yet. And I don't baby my trans at all. I'm sure I will be dealing with him again in the future.

Who returns your trans consistantly with in 2 weeks?
