What all is needed to make a GS-T into a GSX? How hard would this be and and i need specifics on what all parts would i need. Any help would be great.

P.S. this would be for a 1G.

First thing you'll need is the search button. For any of the dozen times this is asked and answered every goddamned week.

It's very hard, time and labor-intensive, and on a 1G there is a large gas tank problem involved.

I would buy a GSX. You will spend enough time, energy and money to nullify the $500-2000 you save on not buying a GSX to replace the GST.

I just got a motor and transmission for $300. And I cant find a GSX with a blown or no motor is the reason i ask. I can find 2wd all day long but I guess im just stubborn with wanting the AWD.

look forward to spending upwards of $6000

If you really want AWD, sell your car and buy a Tsi AWD or a GSX.

for a 1g ur best bet is to sell urs and buy an awd, 2gs are still expensive so a conversion is somewhat cost effective on them but u can get a 90-91 for around $2000, and a 92-94 for around 4000-5000, if ur having trouble finding one go to www.dsmtrader.com, thats where i found my 93 tsi awd(92k original miles)
honestly u can sell ur gst and use that toward buying a gsx and u will spend less out of ur pocket then if u were to convert to awd
and u can always sell the extra motor u will end up with since u say u bought one already for some more cash,
if u really convert it ur car will be off the road for a long time and u will spend countless ammounts of money and time trying to get everything to come together correctly, and u will never get it as perfect as one that was built awd
