Should I rebuild Tranny?

I am pulling my engine out to rebuild it, and figured since the tranny has 115k miles (but still shifts good) I should rebuild it while its there. Is this a good idea.


If so, where can I find a rebuild kit??
Also should I do anything else to it, I heard something about double syncros.

If you send your core to mitsubishigraveyard.com, he'll send you back a stock rebuilt one for $700. AT least thats what I was quoted for my 91'.

I heard its $190 for parts but I dont know of people who do the work unless you can do it yourself.
