No Freeplay

When I start my car it is almost impossible to put into 1st gear. And it Always grinds if I go straight to reverse w/ out going into 1st gear. I have a act2600 I adjusted the pedal and still no difference. Also my cars clutch is not as stiff as it used to be? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

bleed your clutch lines for sure... and adjust the peedle hieght from under the dash.. its a pain in the ass to adjust but its gotta be done.

The very same thing happened to me I had a 2600 put in also and the pedel went soft after a few days I took it back and they told me to replace the master and slave so I did and same pedel feel so i messed with the rod on the master and it was stiff for 3 days and then soft again and the play is f@#$ now well I took it to a pro trans guy i know and it is the clutch fork the thing the slave pushs on its bent and what p!@#@ me off is the Famous shop around here diddnt tell me the fork had to be replaced to handle the pressure so i going to have to spend the big money again just to replace that $85 piece If you live in Illinois dont take it to GRD they dont care about you just your cash.

Yaiended up finding out it was my clutch fork. I pulled the rubber boot back and a piece of the fork came out.

how can i check to see if the fork is bent cause im having very similar problems

You have to take the trans down or if you can push it the direction its not supposed to go then its 85% chance its the fork (what clutch do you have)
