help, new clutch installed and tranny wont shift into first or second, grind!!!

i recently put my jspec engine in and changed the clutch and pressure plate while the engine was out, everything is back together now and now i lost frist and second gear, the cylinder lines have been bleed, im wondering if it may be clutch freeplay? any help would be great

Well buddy I just finished converting my auto to a manual today and I have currently had the same exact problem and what it was is that the shifter cables needed to be adjusted. There is not enough throw to shift the tranny. This might be your problem. Adjust the turnbuckle on the shift cables counterclockwise I think. Try this and see what happens. If not I would check my clutch cylinder/rod and adjust. Good luck
