tranny not holding into rev. pops outta 1st sometimes

My tranny won't stay in reverse, it pops out of 1st gear every once and a while also.and sometimes it will "lock" the shifter out of a gear (for example if it locks me out of first,i'll have to put it in 4th or rev. then put it in 1st)

sounds like you need a new master cylinder,probably could use a slave cyinder too.

I own a 90 and a 95 eagle talon. Both of them pop out of reverse. I just replaced the master cylinder and the slave cylinder and it didn't help. reverse for some reason just does it.

Mine used to do that and I fixed it by putting in a new tranny When I drained the fluid it looked like a freakin metal mayhem! Just a thought but it might be eating or have eaten something inside. Drain the fluid and find out.
