Welding the diff pin

Someone told me to get a safeing bracket for the differential pin for my 99 rs 5speed.They said to get it from satan for 9.00 but they have never herd of it so i was wondering can you weld the pin on to keep it from shooting out .
 
???HUH??? :confused:
What's a "safeing bracket" or a "differential pin"? Where is it? What does it do? I've had my tranny apart several times and I've never heard of either of them.
