will 97 neon R/T motor bolt in 97 RS

my freind has a 97 neon sport with DOHC 2.0L, it has 53k miles on it and i would like to put it in my car (1997 eclipse rs). i am just wondering if i could swap the head and put it in my car.

you can use the block I think because the intake and exhuast are switched around in the neon your better off getting a 420A from an Avenger or Eclipse RS/GS

well the bottom end should bolt right in right?

yep bottom end will bolt on usually people will just get the neon block then build it up and then when they block the engine they just swap the neon block in.
