Wont Go Into Gear.. Help !!!

ok i just got my rebuilt tranny in from TRE and i put it in and adjusted cables, clutch and bled the system. when i first start it after it has been settin a while . i'll drive it and the clutch will work fine but after a while of driving its like the clutch doesnt wanna disengage when i push the pedal in. so i cant select gears at all

i have a new clutch from clutchmasters and ive bought new master and slave cylinders

Check the slave again. I've heard of people intalling new parts that didnt work. After the car has been sitting and the clutch *works* have sombody push in the clutch while your under there and see how far the slave pushes the clutch fork. Then drive around and get it to start screwing up and do the same thing again. If the slave isnt moving the same distance both times then you know its in your master or slave. Try bleeding it again.

My replacement slave cylinder is leaking, 6 weeks later. Pisser, but at least it's not a tough job.

i found out the prob, i took my tranny off and in my clutch was one of the springs. the metal surrounding the spring completely broke off and was rolling around in between the disk and the fingers of the PP. i dont know why it did it if any body has an idea why lemme know. oh , and its a almost brand new clutchmasters FX 100 clutch

It must have been defective! Are you ging to put the same brand disk back in again? Just curious. Let us know how it goes!

nah i dont wanna fork out another 260 bucks for another clutchmasters kit . i found out the PP was warped and cracked also. the reason that all this happened is because the shop i got the flywheel turned at didnt put the alignment pins back in the flywheel. i found a guy who can get me a deal on a new Ram clutch set so im gonna just go with that for now.
