On a 1g .......Is it possible to use swap a N/T tranny into a GST or GSX?? Can i just buy a stronger clutch and a turbo flywheel? will that work?

OH yea wud it make a difference if itz a 1990 tranny bein swapped into like a 92-94 ?

You cannot buy a turbo flywheel for a N/T tranny. The starter won't engage the flywheel. You can use a N/T flywheel and tranny on a turbo engine though. Less than a 1000 miles later, the clutch was slipping in 5th gear on the highway. Mine lasted about 3 months. Why do you want to put a N/T on a turbo anyway ?

Im planning buying a awd turbo eclipse with a messed up manual tranny and i currently own a N/T manual so i was wondering if i could just swap it in and save me some money.... or wud it be cheaper to just buy another transmission

S0omebody can correct me if I am wrong, but I think you have to buy a AWD tranny that has the output for the rear driveshaft

What about if it is a GS-T with a messed up transmission...... will it work then?

Yes, but I broke mine in less than 3 months. Just got done putting in a turbo tranny and flywheel today. BTW don't race up hills LOL I think that is what did me in

well now, i have a 90 talon n\t and i am going to swap a turbo engine, can i just get a stonger cluth and it will do fine. or if not please tell me. will my n\t tranny do well with this clutch that is stronger??

thanks!!!!!!!!

I think i kinda goes along with this,..

Does anyone know if i can take a turbo flywheel, clutch and slave cylander from a 91 AWD manual setup and use it with a 90' fwd manual transmission?
