What is the size of the bolt that holds the rear end to the rear sub frame?


How long?

What thread pitch?

Have tried calling a Mitsubishi dealership an asking them? I tried looking online but found nothing. Could also try contacting some of the DSM supporting vendors listed hear on DSM tuner an ask them. If you find out please let us all know for future reference.

Off the top of my head I believe it is a m14x1.5x60mm. McMaster Carr has them.

Does anyone know for sure the size of bolts that bolt into this location? I am in need of 1 and I didnt want to start a new thread since this one never got finished. I dont need the bowtie bolts i need the side bolts 1 of mine is stripped and i need a new one to put in. Thank you

ASA isn't showing two top long bolts in the rear section, but it's showing 4x MS240915 Bolt,RR DIFF WASHER ASSEMBLED, 10X50

So the bowtie ones and the side ones are most likely the same, since there's 6 total, and this is 4 of them.

Edit, found the 2 long ones in the rear suspension section:

1x MB515262 BOLT, RR SUSP CROSSMEMBER FLANGE, 12X91
1x MB515261 BOLT, RR SUSP CROSSMEMBER FLANGE, 12X118

I can't take a picture but I'm guessing it's the same size as the bowtie ones. There's the two bow ties in the rear and the two that are on the sides I need 1 of. So I'm guessing I can take out one of the bowtie ones and just get the same exact size from ace hardware? They have hardened bolts

for the bowtie MB515260 x2 BOLT, RR DIFF RR MOUNTING FLANGE, 12X28

for the 2 on the side MB515263 X2 BOLT, RR SUSP CROSSMEMBER FLANGE, 12X20

makes sense that they're all in consecutive parts order, 260, 261, 262, and 263...

Yea i saw that too. I guess gather up a few other parts and knick-knacks you might need to add to your order to make it worthwhile if you order from JNZ.

If its the 20mm bolt, I guess you could get it at the local auto-parts store, highest grade bolt available... I doubt you'll find a 28mm long bolt at NAPA or whatever, since they're typically in lengths of 5s or 10s, like 25mm or 30mm long, but not the 28mm specified for the one.

Yah good idea. I can't find a description for that part number except that it says bolt diff rr mounting. I can't find any sizing. I'll just order it and a few other things and will post back on here when I recieve it. Thanks for your help
