Please bear with me as this will probably seem confusing.

Alright so here's the deal. I have a fwd automatic with an IPT end clutch kit in it that is in great shape with like 4,000 miles on the O.D. kit. And i am getting ready to get the whole fwd trans rebuilt due to how bad the end clutches were and the little slippage I was getting in a couple gears.

I also have a bone stock AWD talon automatic with the stock end clutches.

I was wondering if i could swap out the fwd clutch pack with the IPT kit in it, for the AWD stock end clutches until the fwd tranny gets rebuilt? I don't want to replace my existing IPT end clutch kit when it is fine, so i would like to put my end clutches off my AWD onto the fwd trans (since it is stock) and vice versa so that when I take in the fwd to be rebuilt with the IPT performance rebuild kit so that my stock AWD end clutches get replaced with my IPT ones instead of replacing my IPT kit that is on my fwd, with another IPT kit.

Once the fwd tranny is rebuilt I want to swap back my end clutches to their original tranny's so i don't waste the end clutch kit i installed that is still in great shape
