okay, after about 9 hours of tinkering with this thing im going to smash it into a tree(IF IT MOVED) car was running somwhat okay, but notchy, so i adjusted the rod under the dash(no blocking of the bleeder valve, slave still can be moved) and was still notchy so i decided to bleed the lines and the slave, i attached a hose to the bleeder and stuck the other end in a clear bottle full of DOT 3, pumped until nomore are cam out, closed the bleeder, topped off the resevoiur and loosened the bleeder, pushed the clutch fork/slave rod with my hand and closed the bleeder, added some more DOT 3, and repeated 3 times, bled the actual lines 3 or 4 more times as well, get in the car, have hardly any pressure and i have to pump the pedal like 6 times before i can get the car in gear, and as long as i dont let off the pedal ill keep the pressure and be able to move into whatever gear i want freely, but as soon as i let off the clutch pedal for more than 5 seconds i am no longer able to get it into gear without pumped the pedal again....whatttttt issssss goinnggggg onnnnn

Have you replaced the slave or master?

Sounds like you have a leak somewhere. Any visual leaks? Have you pulled the boot back on the slave to see if its wet?

Well no leaks.... and I'm assuming air too... about 3 hours of messing with it with my girlfriend in the drivers seat and she finally gave on me LOL so I put in another 3 hours solo....i t worked 12 hours ago and I just wanted to make sure it was good....pretty irritated here

Good meaning no air, new trans trying to make the break in go as well as possible...ima take it down to the shop tomorrow and they have a "super bleeder" LOL hopefully that fixes the issue....there's nowhere it would leak internally where I wouldn't see fluid is there?

it could be leaking at the back of the master where the rod goes in, running down the inside of the firewall under the carpet possibly

Just to be sure pull the boots back a little on both the master and slave to see if there's fluid in them. I just pulled my slave yesterday and the boot was completely full.

Replaced master last night and slave is good, all is well but 1st still feels like shit :(

So you originally did this because you replaced the tranny, and the clutch hydraulics worked fine before correct?

So when you say all is good, but 1st feels like shit, what does that mean? You can get into all the gears with just one push of the pedal now, but 1st gear is a bi***? Try putting the shifter into 4th gear then putting it in 1st when you are sitting still idling.

New or used tranny? OEM or built tranny? What fluid? Does a 2g have any adjustment on the shift cables? Have you ever replaced the shifter bushings at the tranny end of the cables? I have completely rebuilt the shifter assembly also.

I always have to adjust something when I swap trannies, and I am on number 5 in the past 3 years. However, I have a 1g with 218k miles on the chassis which has a lot more wear and tear than your 2g I am sure...

New built trans. Redline fluid.... medal bushings. And yes all is good crept going into 1st gear...no more pedal pump...only has 81k miles

its from neutral at a stop into first, 2nd into first...anytime u shift 1st. Hydraulics have new slave AND master and is adjusted to the max., but thank you for informing me that the clutch is dragging, and not how to fix it.... stepped to .610 and its been shimmed properly.

Why did you create two duplicate threads for the same issue? I suggest you close one before a mod shoots you a rule violation warning and closes one lf them for you. Just a bit of advice. :)

Also, listen to what tim told you in the pms. He makes a great product, so chances are if he suggests something, you should probably do it and follow up.

Hahaha I have :p sounds like I'm over adjusted tho(didn't know possible) i be been looming for a delete or close button...no avail :'(
