I'm about to purchase a new clutch as my stock clutch is slipping in 3rd through 5th gears now. I was planning on getting an ACT2100 but I can't seem to find any solid information on it. First of all let me state that I have a FWD and my 1/4 mile goal is to run 12s. I only go to the drag strip once, maybe twice a month, and I drive pretty aggressively at times
RRE says to only use the ACT2100 for occasional drag racing with a 14 second car, other sources say that this clutch is fine for a FWD car running 12s, maybe even 11s.
RRE's chart shows that the centerforce clutch holds up better to launching and abuse. So my question is, should I pay more for the centerforce, or will the ACT2100 hold up to the use that I mentioned before?

The 2100 is supposed to support a 16G and that's what I plan on getting. I really don't drag race very often, like i said, maybe once a month, and there is usually a pretty good wait between runs so the clutch can cool. Thanks for the advice, hopefully this clutch will hold up for my use, I can't afford to buy another one anytime soon.
